The timepiece introduced for the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge 2008 was the Panerai Luminor Regatta Chronograph. The 44mm watch is crafted from stainless steel, sapphire crystal, and rubber strap. The Luminor Regatta Chronograph features a tachymeter scale, chronograph push buttons, and brushed finish. With a limited edition of 500 units, it is certain that this watch will easily go out of stock because of the number of collectors vying for this watch.

The timepiece integrates the Panerai calibre OP XXVI for its movement. The manual winding movement has a power reserve of up to 46 hours. Other features of the watch include monometallic balance, COSC certification, and anti-reflective 2.5mm crystal for its dial.
